CHW Forge has installed new machinery in Last Quarter of 2015-16
In the last quarter of 2015-16, CHW Forge has installed major equipment’s such as VTL-2000ATC+C, VTL YV-1600ATC+C, Rail Bound & Mobile Manipulator and Overhead Gantry Cranes. The particulars of the equipment are given below :-
VTL-2000ATC+C:
The VTL series of vertical turning lathes are designed especially for high precision, high rigidity, high stability, under super heavy cutting conditions including non-symmetric work-pieces.
Specification of the Machine:
- Fanuc spindle motor, high torque and high horse power spindle motor.
- Cross roller bearings provide the strength to carry heavy axial and radial loads, thereby ensuring long life heavy cutting with very high precision, stability, low vibration and maximum support for the forces exerted on the main spindle.

Hartford double column Vertical Machining Centre
CHW Forge has commissioned a new Hartford double column Vertical Machining Centre that will enhance its machining capabilities.
Description of the Machine:

- Y- AXIS TRAVEL : 1970 MM
- Z- AXIS TRAVEL : 920 MM
DDS MOBILE FORGING MANIPULATOR:
- DDS Mobile Forging Manipulator Type MSM 20 D
- Diesel – hydraulic driven
- Max. carrying capacity (hot ingot) 1.800 kg
- Max. load moment: 2.0 mt
Over Head Gantry Cranes
The cranes manufactured are extra heavy duty suitable for Steel plant / Forging plant & other Industrial applications and are designed to withstand extreme duty conditions with various advance technology features like VVVF Drives for smooth and jerk free operation with Air conditioned panel.
Double Girder EOT crane
These are designed especially with mechanical means for Traveling in both directions and raising and lowering a load by electrical.
- Double Girder EOT crane of 15 T15T capacity, 14.5M span, 12+6M height of lift, Class IV extra heavy duty as per IS: 3177/807, indoor service, double girder EOT crane suitable for operation from floor by means of Pendant Push Button station + Push Button type Radio Remote control.
Capacity MH: 15 T - Double Girder EOT crane of 30 T30/10T capacity, 22.5M span, 12+6M height of lift, Class IV extra heavy duty as per IS: 3177/807, indoor service, double girder EOT crane suitable for operation from floor by means of Pendant Push Button station + Push Button type Radio Remote control.
