Ring rolling forging is a specialised process used to manufacture seamless rolled rings using advanced ring rolling mill.

The seamless ring rolling process begins with an automatic 4000 MT hydraulic press, which forms a hollow “donut” from a heated billet. This donut is reheated above the recrystallization temperature and positioned over an idler or mandrel roll. The idler roll then applies controlled pressure toward a drive roll that rotates continuously, reducing the wall thickness and simultaneously increasing both the inner and outer diameters of the ring.

The seamless ring rolled forging process results in superior-quality rings that are in high demand across various industries. These rings can be manufactured in multiple configurations—from flat, washer-like shapes to tall, cylindrical forms.
